Jed Johnson

I really like the interior design of Jed Johnson. In 1967, he delivered a telegram to Andy Warhol's Factory and was hired only to sweep the floors. Through this job Johnson got an opportunity to direct Any Warhol's Bad. He lived with Warhol for several years and deisgned the inside of his townhouse. While living with Warhol, he found success as a film director and an interior designer. This was essentially his design school. Johnson died at the age of 47 in the tragic crash of TWA flight 800 in 1996. Jed Johnson has his own interior design firm Jed Johnson Associates.he offers luxury textiles, furniture and decorative accessories. The hallmark of the collection is enduring quality. From the finely woven silks and textures, to the hand-printed and embroidered linen-cotton blends, to the hand-crafted furnishings in warm oaks and exotic woods utilizing elements of richly wrought bronze, copper and nickel, the emphasis is always on the design details and is expressed by the artists and craftsmen. Through his works he is able to evoke different moods within you.

  1. Taylor,

Please make sure you are putting the biography of the designer in your own words - not plagiarizing that of another writer.
